Halloween in Rosas: A Thrilling Mineralab—A Mine You Can Take Home

On Halloween, the Rosas Mine lights up in orange! 🎃
On Saturday, October 31, we look forward to welcoming you for a special morning dedicated to families: parents and children will tour the mine and the ore processing plant together, accompanied by our guides, and then the little ones will head to the Mineralab, the smelting workshop.

There, they’ll discover where metals come from, learn to identify Rosas’s minerals, and watch the metal-smelting process live as it’s poured into Halloween-themed molds: a pumpkin, a skull, and a bat. Each child will take home their own little “spooky” good-luck charm, made right in the mine.

The workshop is designed for children and teens, who must always be accompanied by an adult. Costumes are welcome!

When: Saturday, October 31, 2026, 11:00 a.m.
Duration: approximately an hour and a half
Costs
- Adults: 10 € (tour of the mine, ore-washing plant, and museum)
- Children: Free admission to the mine and museum; smelting workshop: 7 €
