DESCRIPTION:The Rosas Mining Village is hosting a new event in the “Get Back – At the Borders of Sardinia and Jazz” series.The event will be held on Dec. 29 at 6 p.m. in the charming Laveria of the Rosas Mine\, one of the most fascinating spaces of the mining site. \nA guided tour of the mine will be available before the concert. \nThe artist\nSarram is the solo project of Sardinian musician Valerio Marras\, who has been active for years on the European scene with performances in clubs\, festivals\, churches and academies. His sound research crosses drone\, ambient\, noise and post-rock\, composing intense\, layered soundscapes of great emotional impact.  \nFrom 2017 to the present\, he has released four record works for Subsound Records\, Midira Records and Talk About Records. With the album “Tree\,” released by Subsound in vinyl format\, he won the attention of specialized critics as one of the most significant productions of the year\, confirming the maturity of his solo path.  \nSarram’s music stems from Marras’s long experience as a guitarist within projects such as Thank U for Smoking and Charun\, with whom he toured Europe with a personal sound language capable of blending dissonances\, dark atmospheres\, doom dynamics and electronic experimentation.“Tree” stands out as a dense\, visionary journey built on deep frequencies\, looped worked guitars and a strong narrative component. DESCRIPTION:JANUARY 03\, 2025 \nAn exciting adventure that takes children into the heart of Sardinia’s mining history! The workshop is designed for young participants to experience mining in a practical\, educational and fun way\, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the mine. \nWorkshop program: \nHistorical and cultural introduction:\n– Brief account of the importance of Rosas mines in the past.\n– Display of ancient tools and historical pictures to illustrate the work of miners. \n2. Dressing up the little miner:\n– Handing out helmets to make children feel like real miners and visiting the Rosas mine.\n– Guided tour inside the mine in the company of an experienced guide who will explain the features of the tunnels and the life of miners.\n– Interactive stories to engage children (e.g.\, anecdotes about oil lamps\, mine animals\, etc.). \n3. Searching for hidden treasures:\n– Children will search for minerals around the gallery.\n– Each participant will be able to take home a found “treasure” as a memento of the activity. \n4. Creative workshop:\n– Small mining souvenir. \nTarget audience:\nChildren aged 6 to 12 (maximum group of 20 participants). \nCost:\n€ 8 per child (including materials\, souvenirs and entrance to the mine).
