DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT: We have reached the maximum number of participants. Reservations for F@Mu 2026 at the Rosas Museum and Mine are now closed. Thank you to all the families who made reservations! \nOn Sunday\, October 11\, 2026 \, as part of F@Mu\, National Family Day at the Museum\, the Rosas Museum and Mine invites families to get an up-close look at the work of the Sulcis miners\, with a tour of the mine and the Mineralab workshop for the little ones. \nParents and children tour the mine and the processing plant together\, where the minerals extracted over decades were processed and separated. At the end of the tour\, the children head to the educational workshop: there\, they’ll examine minerals from the Rosas mine\, learn to identify them\, and discover how metal was extracted from the rock. The most anticipated part is the smelting: each child will create their own metal object\, a small memento of the day to take home. \nAn experience to enjoy with the whole family in one of Sardinia’s best-preserved mining villages. \n\nWhen: Sunday\, October 11\, 2026—a tour of the mine and the ore-processing plant\, followed by a workshop for children at 11:00 a.m.\nWhere: Rosas Museum and Mine\, Rosas Mining Village\, Narcao\nAdult ticket: €10.00 (tour of the mine\, ore processing plant\, and museum)\nChildren: Free admission to the mine and museum; educational workshop with metal casting: €7.00\nReservations: Closed; event is fully booked (SOLD OUT)

DESCRIPTION:On Halloween\, the Rosas Mine lights up in orange! 🎃 We look forward to seeing you on Saturday\, October 31\, for a special morning dedicated to families: parents and children can explore the mine and the ore-washing plant together\, accompanied by our guides\, and then the little ones will head into the Mineralab\, the smelting workshop. \n\nHere\, they’ll discover where metals come from\, learn to identify the minerals of Rosas\, and watch live as metal is melted and poured into Halloween-themed molds: pumpkins\, skulls\, bats… and many more! Each child will take home their own little “spooky” good-luck charm\, made right in the mine. \n“Spine-tingling” good-luck charms made at Mineralab\nThe workshop is designed for children and teens\, who must always be accompanied by an adult.
