Traces of a Woman: Memories, Places, and Rebirths

From September 5 to 13, 2026, the Rosas Museum in Narcao presents “Traces of a Woman: Memories, Places, and Rebirths,” an exhibition curated by Lara Corona featuring works by Arcart and Daniel Marongiu. Admission is free.
The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the diversity of the female experience through works that explore the connections between memory, identity, places, and transformation. In the works of Arcart—an artistic project born from the collaboration between Andrea and Carla Rubiu—the female figure interacts with architecture, landscapes, and places marked by the passage of time. In Daniel Marongiu’s painterly exploration, the female figure becomes a subject of inquiry into inner life, emotions, and transformation.
Saturday, September 5, at 6:00 p.m., exhibition opening. Following the opening, there will be a free screening of the documentary film “Donne in Miniera” by director Roberto Carta, dedicated to the role and legacy of women in the region’s mining history.
The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge from September 5 to 13, 2026, at the Rosas Museum in the Rosas Mining Village, Narcao.
The exhibition is sponsored by Laviosa S.p.A., and the documentary film event is sponsored by the Laviosa Foundation.
